Black lab for free! please please help....

I found a black lab wandering around. He looks very healthy and is very friendly. He knows how to sit, shake, and lay down. He can't be more than 12 months old and he's just sooo happy.
I am moving home to California and cannot keep him. He needs a home now.
HE IS GOING TO THE POUND ON THURSDAY, MAY 8TH IF NO ONE WANTS HIM.
please please help me, I can't imagine this great dog going to the pound :(
