Hello! I am looking for some resources to learn about Sikhi and Punjabi/Indian/Sikh culture in a fun and natural way that is not overwhelming. For reference I am a Caucasian woman with a minor child in a LD serious relationship with a currently non practicing Sikh man. His mother is traditional and practicing. I would like to educate myself and introduce my child to it as well in a non forceful way so they're prepared when he visits and we spend more time together. I was already into Indian music and movies, food and language when we met, but not Sikh Specifically. As far as I know there are no Gurdwaras close to Lubbock. Where are some places where I can find some good resources on Sikhi and meet other Sikh families? I deeply respect him, his culture and his mother. I want to be educated and support him should he ever choose to return to his roots or whatever he decides especially if we marry in the future (which we have talked about) and have a child together. Please no negativity, I truly just want to learn, understand and embrace this part of him and his family. Thank you! Btw I tried to post on r/Sikh but it got rejected and I didn't know where else to post.
