Up for sale is a KoAloha Pineapple Sunday ukulele. It is a concert sized ukulele with a tenor length neck. All solid Hawaiian Koa body, fretboard, and bridge. This is a rare find and part of the Signature Series from head luthier and creator of KoAloha Ukuleles in Oahu, Hawaii, Alvin "Pops KoAloha" Okami. The shape, scalloped edges, and debossed pattern on the soundboard make it look like an actual pineapple. Besides the looks, it is the loudest & brightest sounding ukulele I have ever played almost bell like. The action makes it play like butter, and it is great for strumming and fingerpicking. The closed geared Grover tuners help make tuning accurately easy and it stay in tune. Overall in good condition for its age, with the most considerable wear to the top left corner of the face of the body and fretboard, where the previous owner must of used a pick and worn it down a little. It is stable, smooth to the touch, and does not affect play - see photos. Comes with a rectangular hard foam case that fits its unique size and shape. Asking $1700 or best offer, cash only local pickup only. I am visiting family for the holidays and only in town until Sunday.
